2009 Art Glass Auctions

The Early Auction Company is gearing up for another strong year of art glass auctions in Cincinnati. Despite worries over the economy, art glass continues to remain a strong sell at auction.

In our last sale a fantastic and extremely rare Plated Amberina Hanging Lamp brought a record hammer price of $26,000.00.

The auction also featured a magnificently decorated Mt. Washington Peachblow Pitcher - considered by many to be the finest piece of decorated Peachblow ever made. A notarized letter of provenance accompanied the piece and it brought an astounding $35,000.00.

The sale featured an assortment of offerings in Tiffany, Quezal, Steuben as well as contemporary, French and English Cameo, Durand and many others.

Early Auction Company is now accepting consignments for their April, July, and October 2009 auctions.
